Andrea Krush
Senior Manager Cybersecurity & Privacy bij Eraneos
With a passion for (information) technology, Andrea started her career in IT from the educational field. As a teacher, she studied the use of technology in learning environments. After her studies, she went on to work in IT. Her professional experience includes various roles in information technology, with a focus on information security and cyber security since 2011. Andrea has held several job titles (CISO, lead/senior ISO, Information Security Manager) and in those roles she focused on improving the security maturity of the organizations she has worked for.
Andrea teaches day 4 of the Information Security Management Expert course. Andrea is a passionate teacher and professional: she loves what she does and transfers her enthusiasm to the group. Learning from each other is also a core prinicple in her classes: both for the instructor as well as the participants among themselves. Andrea brings something into the classroom but also learns during each lesson just like the participants.
Information Security is a socially relevant topic. The impact of information security issues is growing and with it the need to make information security roles future-proof. Future-proof is often viewed from a technological perspective within information security, yet future-proof leadership is especially needed to keep answering the evolving issues of information security. Andrea believes in a multi-disciplinary approach: learning from a variety of professions and adapting good practices for information security.
Above all, Andrea believes it is important that participants leave the class with a bag full of practical baggage and inspiration to advance their work at their organization. Theory is the framework, but this must be able to make a real contribution to daily work. How do you apply theory and make it usable?
Together with the participants, Andrea will search for the answer!
