Chris is an experienced trainer, speaker and passionate senior manager with 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He has carried IT responsibility and gained consulting experience, alongside leading digital & agile transformations. He has a Masters in IT strategy & management and IT auditing. He led several programs as line- and IT program manager to optimize, innovate and standardize IT services and security throughout organizations. Chris is a lecturer at the Security Academy and a member of the Advisory Committee of the post-HBO course Information Security Management Expert.

Chris gives training to management and staff on security essentials. This is a practical training with a lot of interaction. With his practical experience he can give many examples on how the theory is put into practice. For Chris it is very important that his students have ample opportunities to practice and learn from each other.

Because of the practitcal examples and the broad security, management and consultancy experience of the instructor, the knowledge gained is easily applicable in both the public and private sector.

Chris tries to provide an interactive learning experience where students learn from each others’ experiences. He also believes that a good atmosphere and having fun is crucial for a succesfull training.
